wow. A couple things here:
1) I didn't hook up the trunk release since this is a hatchback and it wouldn't do anything anyway.
2) I only hooked up one of the ignition wires. Do I need to hook up the one ignition wire from the RS to BOTH ignition wires on the car?
I must have misunderstood the function of the bypass. I thought I wouldn't need a key at all once this thing was programmed. So you're saying I need to keep one of my keys wrapped next to the ignition?
Jeez... and here I thought I knew what I was doing! :D

Subaru's can be fun!

There aren't many transponder bypass modules available for Subaru's.  Fortin does offer the TB-Subaru2 module
for your car and you won't lose a key but that still requires going to the dealer for programming.
https://ifar.ca/en/products/tb/tb-subaru2/   A "key in the box" universal transponder like the DEI 556U is the
usual way to go because it is only ON during remote start.

This is Bulldogs info for the 2010 Impreza:

12 VOLT CONSTANT                             WHITE (+)                 @ IGNITION SWITCH, (WHITE, 6-PIN PLUG), PIN 3
 STARTER                                                WHITE/ BLACK (+)    @ IGNITION SWITCH, (WHITE, 6-PIN PLUG), PIN 2
 STARTER 2                                            WHITE/ RED (+)         @ IGNITION SWITCH, (WHITE, 6-PIN PLUG), PIN 6
 IGNITION 1                                             GREEN (+)                 @ IGNITION SWITCH, (WHITE, 6-PIN PLUG), PIN 1
 IGNITION 2  N/A
 IGNITION 3  N/A
 ACCESSORY /HEATER BLOWER 1     BLUE (+)                  @ IGNITION SWITCH, (WHITE, 6-PIN PLUG), PIN 4
 ACCESSORY /HEATER BLOWER 2     YELLOW (+)            @ IGNITION SWITCH, (WHITE, 6-PIN PLUG), PIN 5

This is Audiovoxs' info for the 2011 Impreza:

Battery              WHITE  (+)                    IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 1         GREEN  (+)                   IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory 1    YELLOW  (+)                 IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory 2    BLUE  (+)                       IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 1           WHITE/ BLACK  (+)      IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 2           WHITE/ RED  (+)           IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

You should power all ignition circuits with an isolated remote start output.  The Commando Alarms 4000RS

is capable of supplying IGN1, ACC1, Starter1 and Starter2 ( Brown wire - via programming Branch Feature 22 to
Option 3 ).  That would leave ACC2 to be powered with an extra 30/40 Amp SPDT relay.  Your remote start does
not make this easy like other units that provide an (-)ACC2 output or two GWR outputs.  Wire as follows:
Relay Pin 86 to 4000RS ACC1 heavy Orange wire.
Relay Pin 87 to +12v constant thru 20A fuse.
Relay Pin 30 to Impreza ACC2 wire.
Relay Pin 87A not used - insulate.
Relay Pin 85 to 4000RS Blue/Orange - Ground When Running Out thru 1N4001 diode, band towards the 4000RS.
This 4000RS Blue/Orange wire is also connected to the ADS AL-CA GWR input, just tap into it.

Soldering is fun!

OK! Done! Thanks to you both for your help!
The second ignition wire was the problem. I only hooked up one of them. Also, kreg is correct (of course) in that a key is required to enable the bypass to work. I chopped the valet key and velcroed it to the bottom of the ignition housing. Works perfectly!
I didn't bother with the second accessory wire though. I'm only interesting in getting the blower to work so once I figured out which of the 2 sent power there, I just hooked that one up to the RS.
Thanks again!

You chopped the valet key and velcroed it to the bottom of the ignition housing. That doesn't sound good.
