Hey guys, I just ordered a pair of 2011 DC Audio 8's(level 2). Specs show 300 rms, 600 max. I've read that these numbers are underrated, which is cool but I don't really like running my speakers and subs too far over stated rms.

Question: Can I safely run a JL 500/1 to them? I ask because I'm already running a couple slash amps and don't want to mismatch. And as a budget oriented person, I'm pretty happy with the performance of said amps.

Thanks in advance. If the question's foolish it's because I don't know anything about DC outside of the reviews.

Fine the employers.

As far as I can tell, they're going in my rear deck (so as not to do battle with what's in the trunk). So I'll have to work on the hanging fiberglass pods for each of them. Or maybe just plain old mdf.

Fine the employers.
