I am bad with this amp wiring stuff and I am requesting a little help! I have two Boss Audio subs (NX129DC) that supposedly run 1400 watts rms . Both subs have dual 4ohm voice coils in them. I currently have 1 sub hooked up but I want to upgrade to a dual sub combo and need a new amp.
Using the subwoofer wiring diagram on this site, it says I can wire these two subs at a 1 ohm or 4 ohm load. So  the amp I get simply needs to be able to push 1000 watts@ 1 or 4 ohms. Does this amp need to have two channels since I am using two subs or can a mono channel amp push 1000 watts to both subs? Also, does anyone have any amp suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Well that amp is rated to one-ohm so you should be fine using it for both of your subs.  Just be sure to set the gain carefully.
