can any one please help, my 1998 ford explorer was working fine the other day great truck, but i came to start it the next day and it wont start,

the engine turnes over but WILL NOT FIRE i think its the imobliser

can anyone tell me how i can BUY-PASS THIS SO I CAN GET MOBILE AGAINE

It may help us help you if we knew what areas of the vehicle you were working in.  What exactly did you do to the vehicle?

hi thanks for the reply,

the car was working fine on wednesday no problum, i came to it on thuresday pressed the remote got in the car turned the key and the engine JUST TURNES OVER WILL NOT FIRE,

also noted today when the engine is turning over the RED LIGHT ON DASH BORED IS BLINKING/STAYING ON.

I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE OTHER STUFF ,,,, THIRE IS POWER GOING TO THE COIL-PACK BUT NO SPARK AT PLUG  ???????????

hi can antone tell me where the SPEED SENCER CAMSHAFT PULLIE IS ON MY 98 FORD EXPLORER 4LT

the truck will not start and the garage thinks its that??????? but he cant fined it

any body help please AND HOW MUCH ARE THEY AND HOW BAD ARE THEY TO FIT HELP HELP

try a real repair shop. i wouldnt trust any place to wrench on my vehicle if they couldnt find what part they need to work on.

Top of block/head, one end either 2 or 3 wires.
X 2 with Mr.I, if they can't find a standard part on a common vehicle what does it say to their expertise?
Could also be the engine management.
2 tips, a)try disconnecting the battery terminals and hold the leads together for about 10 seconds to dissipate any static that worked once on an LS Lexus with the same symptom,
b) They should have had a decent diagnostic unit 2 minutes to tell you what's wrong.
Incidentally these sensors are solid state Hall effect switches they almost never go wrong.
Also look at the fuel pump and air valve.
