Damn.
Also, I tried unplugging the brake harness, but to no effect. It still wouldn't start.
Thanks for the help, though.
If anyone has anything more to add, i'd appreciate it.

Oh, and is it possible that the problem is a setting in the menu?
For instance, the default tach is Virtual Tach, but that doesn't work if you have a manual, so I used "Tachometer"
Here are the tach settings choices:
Engine Checking Mode:
1. Virtual Tach
2. Voltage
3. Off
4. Tachometer

Ok. I just decided to run the remote start in Automatic mode. It works great now. :)

Very very dangerous. If you leave it in gear the parking brake will NOT stop the car if you're parked downhill in gear.
Find the NSS if there is one on the engine management and use it.
