The time has come to replace the stock stereo in my 08 SR5 4runner. The only problem is I can't decide which stereo to get. I'm looking at either the Sony XAV-62BT or the Pioneer AVH-P3300BT. Things I'm going to add are: XM or Sirius radio, Backup camera, and Ipod hookup. Anybody have any recommendations on either of these stereos? Any opinions are appreciated.

Eclipse or higher-end Kenwood are FAR better choices. Have you even looked at any of their offerings? I would avoid both of your chosen brands like the plague. Neither of them are great gear, and sell because of price and name alone.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

of the 2 choices u posted i vote for the pioneer, ive seen lower quality than pioneer out there, i have an old jvc in my comuter car an the only reason id change units would be to upgrade to something with a aux port,

I'd personally vote for Pioneer out of those two.

I Second DYohn and haemphyst. Get a nice Kenwood you wont be sorry. I would not have a sony radio. Between the two I would pick Pioneer if that were the only two options I had. If Eclipse hadn't decided to close there doors they made a great unit.
