i got a customer that brought in an 05 Dodge Durango to me and they went to another place and had a viper alarm installed. The problem is that now the cars driver door doesnt work right meaning the mirror controls dont work and the memory switch dont work  at all on either side and the lock and unlock on the drivers door doesnt work as well. The facotry alarm still locks and unlocks but not the door switch. i completely took out the viper system and tried to see what happens and the door trigger on that door doesnt work either. There is something in the door called the dmmm which means driver mirror module or something like that.  I took the dmmm from the passenger which has the exact part number and nothing but i put the drivers one in the passenger door and it works so its not that module.. Im clueless. No fuses blown and no wires cut that i can see.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

My first thought would be to pull the battery for a few hours and let all the data stuff reset and see if they will start talking again. If not its probably the bcm. Or at least thats my thought on it.

i tried that but i found the issue. In the boot in the door one of the power wires were cut so that why the door wasnt working but now i have another question i installed a Avital 5103 and a DBALL to do the remote starter alarm and the only issue i have is that i cant get the car to remote start without the factory alarm going off. I connected the keysense wire and nothing. I did the install for the DBALL D2D and i cant get the factory alarm to deactivate before the car starts. Any suggestions.

what did you use to trigger the keysense? you should be using the status ouptut. the only way to disarm the factory alarm is either with the factory remote or with ignition, sentry key, and keysense. the keysense has to see a constant ground not just a pulse like a factory disarm wire puts out

i used the blue wire from the remote start and before the car starts i hear the beeping of the keysense but the factory alarm still goes off.  There is no disarm and i was connect connect the disarm to unlock the door first but i used D2D so i could do it that way.

If it were me, I would try W2W. I never really had the best of luck with the DBALLs and D2D

ill try that but the customer had no problem with unlocking the door manually before the car is started so i guess ill wait until he gets tired of that issue then he will be back but thanks for the advice.
