Ok i jus installed a wiring kit thats for up to 2000 watts... The sub is a sony xplod 12 an a sony xplod 600 watt amp all wired at 4ohms...Nothin big jus give it a lil bump.. Anyway i hooked it all up an works good til it hits low.. Tha amp dont cut out jus tha speaker... Everything is new besides a box that converts speaker wire to rca jacks and im stumped i cant figure it out please help

if you amp has a set of rca jacks coming back out, hook a set of headphones or something with ca inputs to them and see if  they go dead as well when it cuts out.

where is the wattage coming from that goes into the box you mentioned?
