Does this vehicle have a manual transmission?  If it does, do not cut the Brown wire, W1, in control unit.  Follow the guide to enter into reservation mode in preparation of a remote start..  If the vehicle has an automatic transmission, cut the Brown wire, W1, in control unit.   Vehicles with a manual transmissions will require CN5 - 4 and CN5 - 6 connected to the proper wires in the vehicle..

Wiring looks good for CN1.  Connect the Tach wire to the non-common color wire at a convenient Fuel Injector, set the Dip switches to 1=OFF, 2=OFF and 3=ON.  Then perform the Tach Learn process :

The sensing of engine run by Tach signal needs to setup

idle RPM (RPM setting for remote start).
RPM setting: Start-up vehicle, set-up valet mode ,
press buttons ( lock ) + M in the same time over 2 sec.,
idle RPM will save to control unit, leave valet mode.

Try a remote start.  If the car does not start look for any "Security" type lights on the dash.  If there are "Security" lights, try a remote start with the ignition keyhead held next to the ignition switch.

All connections should be well soldered and insulated with a quality electric tape.

Soldering is fun!
