viper 5301, idatalink ads dl bandwidth

Tach is available on your truck. The only white wire in the harness going to the cluster. Voltage sensing is not a good idea on a diesel. The other option is to use "no engine checking" and bump up the crank time to 4 seconds if the truck automatically shuts off the starter once it starts (I think it does). Your wiring for the 2nd ignition looks right on. Good luck.

Any updates on this install? I have the Viper 5301LE and am gathering up info to install into a 2004 Silverado 2500HD with Duramax diesel. This post looks to be the most complete with the wiring diagram posted...if it s correct and all of these issues were sorted out!
