I am looking for the trunk relese wire for this vehical. I am installing an Astra 4000 starter/alarm by Scytek. The wiering info I have found says to conect directly to the trunk relese motor. I am looking to make a connection under the dash.

I haven't worked on the car but is there a truck release switch ? You should be able to test the wires there and find what you need

The 2012 is the same as the 2011. By "use trunk release motor" they mean use the motor wire, which is red(positive) at the dash fuse box, white 39 pin plug, pin 38.
