I have a 2007 chevy impala ltz. i installed an amp and subs to the factory radio using a line converter. i got power and sound  but the amp wont turn of when the key is pulled. could this be inpart to that i have the remote turn on ran to the accessory fuse?

If you remove that wire from the fuse, does the amp turn off?  Have you used a volt meter to make sure that fuse is not hot when the key is off?

xtry opening closing door, you may have trapped into the rap feature.

i have removed the wire and the amp turns off. havent tried the volt meter, i have used the same procedure on previou vehicles. thinking maybe using the radio fuse would work. i just dont want to have to pull my dash apart! any suggestions would be appreciated!

There is only one fuse in that car that goes off with the key.  It may be labeled Windshield Wiper.  The fuse you connected to is hot all the time.

i have a sunroof fuse also, but dont have a sunroof. that fuse normally goes off with the key,, right. nut if i use the wiper fuse , there would posible be feed back from the operation of the wipers?

I have not heard of any issues using the wiper fuse.

the wiper fuse is under the hood, its dark here so i just used a toggle for now, tomorrwo i will attempt the wiper fuse. thanks , i will post the outcome.
