I have a tracking device to fit to a 2011 merc E350 convertible next week ,the standard E350 had a fusebox in the right hand side of the boot but this does not seem to be there on the convertible .
I have had a quick look and found my positive and ignition in the fuse box in the engine bay but does anybody have any information on pick up points inside the vehicle to save me running wires into the engine bay !

Should be a fuse box under the rear seat.

Dead easy, right hand fuse box, constant and ignition, 0V to nearby bolt or any plain brown wire in the fuse box, pink/red for ignition, red primary for constant (check it doesn't time out), external antennae if 2 under the plastic scuttle at base of windscreen. 10 minutes.
After testing solder all joints, don't bother to go inside the car, it's nearly all data.

Sorry meant to say right hand side engine bay between the bulkheads fusebox.
Also in the saloon there's yet another rear fuse/relay box to the left rear of wheel arch behind the boot/trunk carpet and it's a pig to get at.
