Hi everybody I was just wondering how good this amp is! I have this amp in my truck pushing 2 kicker comps at 8ohms and I was wondering if it is a true 2000 watt amp at 4 ohms It is a good amp I like it so far but i dont know if its a true 2000. If any body has one or thinks its good just let me know. Thanks

What's the fuse rated?
With about 16 seconds of research, I found the manual at the Profile website. That amplifier does 960W RMS bridged into a 4-ohm load. The 2000W rating is optimistic, at the VERY least. With only 100A of fuse capacity, I'd agree strongly with that 960W specification.
You said you are running into an 8-ohm load. Is that a bridged connection, or are you running the amplifier in stereo? If bridged, probably a good 500 watts. Leave it there, as far as I am concerned... You'll enjoy good headroom, improved efficiency, and a long amplifier life. If you have enough output already, enjoy your gear. :)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
