Did you see a keysense wire listed in the wiring data?  If so, did you connect it?

You probably have the wrong Ignition 2 wire, or maybe you powered it as accessory instead of ignition by accident.
Does the heater/air conditioner work during remote start?

Use a Digital Multi Meter.  Set to 20V DC.  Connect the Black lead to chassis ground.

Starter Wire :  Connect the DMM Red lead to the suspect wire.  This wire has +12 volts when the ignition switch is turned to the

“START” (CRANK) position only. This wire has 0 volts in all other ignition switch positions.

Ignition wire :  Connect the DMM Red lead to the suspect wire.  The ignition wire should receive +12 volts when the ignition key

is in the “ON” or “RUN” and “START” or “CRANK” position. When the ignition is turned “OFF”, the ignition wire should receive “0” voltage.

Accessory wire :  Connect the DMM  Red lead to the suspect wire.  An accessory wire will show + 12 volts when the ignition switch is turned

to the “ACCESSORY” or “ON” and “RUN” positions, and will show 0 Volts when the key is turned to the “OFF” and “START” or “CRANK” position.

Soldering is fun!
