Hi,
Does anyone have the wiring info for a UK model Audi A3 1998?
I've searched the wiring info here but no A3 model listed.
I am trying to wire in an aftermarket remote keyless entry kit and would like it to lock/unlock, total close as well as switch the factory alarm on and off.
I believe these wires can be tapped into at the central locking pump.
Many thanks.

Yes or at the the plugs in the driver's kick panel. That location will also give you the right hand door triggers, go to the passenger side for the left, also one of the floor looms will give you indicators, BLACK/ white and BLACK/ green and trunk trigger if required.
Extending the lock time will close the windows.

I just double checked, the circuit diagram does suggest the vacuum pump but I've never done it that way, I've always picked everything up at the kicks and gone to the rear for the tailgate.
BROWN / yellow and BROWN / white, door triggers.
BROWN / red, hood (bonnet) trigger.
BROWN / black, hatch trigger.
I've got GREEN/ blue driver's door return loom or pump as 1 wire vacuum control as Mercedes but that doesn't seem right, also it won't give you close! For that vintage I've gone to the kick panels probed NEG to give me lock and unlock.
ore research! At the kick panel or pump try the following, all NEG pulsed.
BROWN / Green and green.
RED / Brown and grey/white. The second pair sounds familiar.
