Hi, I am trying to help a friend replace a lost remote for used vehicle that they bought that has an Astroflex 800 under the dash. Any idea which remote(s) will fit this. Possibly a picture of the proper remote?
Thanks for any help you could offer.

I have a model 800 asnd lost the remote. I found a 6 button remote but I am having problems programming it. I tried dip sw 8 up, hit the brake once, press any button on the remote, dip sw down & hit the brake once more. It seems I have to do a long press or the car wont start. When it starts, it stops 1 sec later.

astrostart remotes have a long button push you have to hold them for about a 1.5 seconds to 2 seconds before they transmit.
also after it starts and then fails what it the led flashing it will repeat a code for the failed start attempt. do not hit brake before you count the flashes
i am betting its a 4 flash then repeat, for on tach signal and you will ave to check the tach wire connection
if it is anything else let me know and i will try to help
