I am installing python 1401 and idatalink ads-al-ca on the 2011 sonata.

Here is the problem. 2011 sonata with smartkey has 2 brake lines.

The installation manual says I have to connect a brake line but there are 2 brake lines.

Do I have to connect both of the lines? or just one

help.

You need to test the wires.  The proper wire should have 12V on it when the brake is depressed, and no voltage when the brake is not depressed.  The information I have indicates this is a green wire.  If there are multiple wires that test correctly (12V when depressed), only one needs to be hooked up.

Here is a picture of the (+) Brake wire.  It is in the upper plug in the Drivers Kick Panel.

Connect to just this wire.

Soldering is fun!

Don't it's too dangerous! Danger of joint coming loose whilst driving.
Having said that, without access to a circuit diagram, go under rear seat, find the wiring and follow it back to the front.
At a guess it's in the area Kreg showed you on the photo.

X2 with Howard, very dangerous unless you're setting up a "Bait Car" for a local P.D.

And Howard is correct again!  2011 sonata remote start - Last Post -- posted image.  The wire you are looking for is actually in the photo.   ( It's the Green wire (+) in the White two pin plug at the bottom of the picture. )

Soldering is fun!

It's just occurred to me that far eastern manufacturers must have a really cheap source of GREEN paint for their cable sleeving.
That or a lack of imagination.
Brakes, fuel, all the back lights.
Not forgetting the crew painting the silver dots.
