I have this Stinger 15 Farad power capacitor and I noticed it has an ON OFF button on one side. All it "seems" to do is turn all the fancy lights and voltmeter display on and off buuuut, can I just verify with someone who knows about these that it does not affect the operation of the cap? ie. is that all that it does? It's a Stinger SHC5115 btw and Stinger will not respond after numerous emails.

Thanks!

You don't just connect big caps randomly (though some have soft-starts). And the cap switch would have to be BIG!
It's only to save embarrassment around experts.
(IE - on/off for the display/s.)
But that's my practical guess.

The switch should be labeled Bling On/Off. It turns off the display and lights.
