How much current are you expecting to pull through the switch?

Couldn't get the link to work but at 12V it should be good for 15 amps.

this switch is going between the audio head unit (generally blue wire) and the antenna. i am not sure how much power it draws. i assume it is very little because the blue wire is at most 20 gauge wire size if not, 22 gauge. i would like to prevent the antenna from extending when listening to mp3s.
it looks like this forum does not allow "flea bay" to be posted so below where the www. replaced with www.e+bay+.com without the + sign.

Switch will handle about 50 x the current required for that circuit so no problems.

thanks for the reply.
for AC switches with the max of 10 amps use in DC current knowing that DC current will max at 16 amps, i need to make sure DC current will draw less than 10 amps?

Current draw on a head unit switched antenna and or amp feed is about 150 milliamps although Mr. I could probably confirm that.
If what you're trying to show is a round push fit S/Pole rocker switch that's fine. I've used them many times for the same purpose, plain and illuminated.

A relay coil draws 160MA. Most amplifier turn on circuits draw WAY less.
