Interesting, Ted but two things stand out, one VW model, why not all? Is that a South American built vehicle with Chrysler parts? The first of the new Minis had a Chrysler engine made in South America.
How is tach sensing achieved, through DATA on the T connector?

Ted, I just Wikied the Tiguan, it's Golf/Jetta based and built in Germany, Russia, China and Vietnam, but not South America and no Chrysler connection, so why the reference and if the Tiguan, why not Golf/Jetta or the Audi range?
I think it's a typo error, also the VW lighting colour is WRONG, parking or side lights on ALL, Germans (DIN standard) are grey primary colour.

By the way guys when a rookie posts with problems, how many times do you want to yell "check your wiring fool"?

More like... take it to a professional. When you have to ask how to use a DMM you should not be attempting a remote starter.

Or probably a few more like not RTFM* or looking at my signature lines.
*Especially with regard to not wiring up/programming by-passes properly or obeying/understanding second Ign./starter/ACC methods.
How many of these fools look at the colours we've suggested and assume without testing.
