Dumb question, but have you tried cycling through lock and unlock a few times to see if it goes away? Also try pressing the program button with the car off and see what happens. I would assume its stuck in some sort of "mode" but I really can't say for sure.

Yeah Ive tried several lock/unlock button combos that i have found online with no success. Do you guys think it could be related to the security light connections i made in the idatalink bypass module? I cant imagine i screwed something up there as it was a simple wire to find and i cut it and connected it to the designated wires in the ads unit. I will have to double check.

That is normally just so that the factory security light doesn't light up. it shouldn't have anything to do with the LED on the antenna.

This is for the older units but maybe it will work with yours. Turn the ignition on and then press the command button, then turn the key off again and see if that works. No promises, but its worth a shot.

Also try opening the door then pressing Unlock, Lock, Unlock. It really sounds like its in Valet mode... but I know you said you've tried that...

Another source I found says to open the door and do Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock, Lock... I don't know the exact procedure for the 5902 but anything is worth trying.. lol

Nothing worked. Stinking light didn't even flinch. Only way it goes off is to actually put it in valet mode. But once you take it out it turns back on solid, the total opposite of what it should be doing.

Another dumb question but are you sure you are putting it into valet mode and not taking it out??? I never use valet mode so I really have no idea if its something that is blatently obvious that it is in valet mode. Past that I'm fresh out of ideas...

Yeah with the 5902 when its in valet mode and you arm or disarm the vehicle it will beep really loud on the remote and it will display a lock highlighted red and it will say "in valet mode" really big so its pretty obvious lol. Im out of things to try my self, thinking now of a way to just somehow disconnect the LED and kill it. Either that or try a new antenna but they look like they run for $60 on ebay and i dont feel like shedding out the cash right now until i can somehow verify the antenna is faulty.
