Hello I just bought a new vehicle and it has the astrostart 2100 in it,when you try to start it,it will just start and shut off right away, then everything goes off then a few seconds later it will try to start agian, same thing happens it does this 3 times and then there is nothing. there is no lights that blink on the unit.

Any thoughts? Looks like there is a brand new battery in the vehicle could that have something to do with it? Also tried to put the key in the igintion and try and same thing happens?

Thanks

Try placing the key in the ignition and turn the switch to the on position.  Then attempt to remote start it, what happens now?

Yep I put it in the run so the radio and stuff came on, then tried and it did the same thing as if there was no key in it at all,

You need to investigate the Tach wire connection.
