I installed a Prestige APS-57c in a 2010 Chevy Siverado. I didn't use a bypass module. I did it the old-fashion way. Works great! My only issue is that I couldn't find the factory alarm disarm wire. DEI lists it as light green @ pink plug @ the BCM. I found the light green wire, but I can't seem to test it with the key in the drivers door, or the pulse from the factory transmitter. How do I test this wire?

I don't want to hook up to anything that I can't confirm. Thanks!

Turn the key in the driver's door cylinder to the unlock position, the wire will show ground. If the truck is a premium model the analog disarm is not available at the BCM, it is only available at the switch in the door.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Hi,

That's the problem. This particular wire does not show ground on unlock with key in drivers door. It's not a premium model, because I have the lock/unlock wires available @ BCM. Does anyone know where the disarm wire is located? Thanks...

FACTORY ALARM DISARM LT. GREEN (-) SEE NOTE #5 On BASE Model @ BCM, PINK PLUG, PIN 20, SEE NOTE #2
NOTE #2: The BCM is located UNDER the Drivers Side of the Dash and to the LEFT of the Steering Column.
NOTE #5: On PREMIUM Models, this wire is located at the Driver Window Switch, BROWN, 16-PIN PLUG, PIN 4, on the Base or Premium model, TEST this wire while turning the key in the drivers door key cylinder.
All I can find says the same thing you already have. How are you checking the wire?
