2005 grand caravan remote start

just finished install on van it starts runs for a few seconds then dies will stay running with key in ignition switch

What bypass did you use. That sounds like the immobilizer is getting triggered.

did not install one !! is there any way around it? if not what do you recomend 

  I called the dealer and they sent me a bypass module but no instructions on how to install it the part # on it is 05140464AA any help would be appreciated

buy a fortin INT-SL or evo-all. that will handle the bypass, another option is idatalink ads-al-ca

this is the factory remote start module, which wont do you anygood. there are much more reliable data bypasses available which i mentioned above.
