I didn't think I would need a relay. Most Euro cars are pretty good with the 250ma output. I told him I could do it... but he said it probably won't be til spring. So I've got some time.

If and when, please show photos, especially of by-pass.
Incidentally, if you pop the gauge cluster, and you will probably have to, to get at the ignition loom, there's probably enough space to loose the R/S unit to the left of the cluster.

Yea, I'll be sure to make up a pictorial when / if I do it. Hopefully it won't have an immobilizer but if it does it'll just mean I get to do some extensive digging... haha

If it has the wiring should be in that ignition loom.
They've had them over here since about 92.
