i use Installogy and Fortin WireGuide.
there are tons out there.
Dealer/paid subscription only: directechs, Renault infotech, installogy, and fortin wire magic as far as i'm aware of.
free: bulldog security, readyremote, audiovox
best buy uses installogy which is more commonly known as wiremagic.

I always use readyremote.com and it has not yet let me down. It doesn't have all the specific connections (defrost, clutch bypass, etc) like directechs, installogy, etc does but it seems to get the basics reliably.

I have to admit though, I do miss my access to wiremagic and directechs... lol. But Its not worth the cost for me to get either. I can get most of what I need from readyremote and whatever I can't get from there, I have a DMM for a reason.

Kenny,Metz and Ted, pm me ref Directechs.
On a new (to me) vehicle, I work up crib sheets from every source I can find including here, then test against all of them.
Having said that many vehicles, especially the Japanese are very logical in where door, lock triggers etc. are placed.
Most Toyotas are no brainers to me.

Chevy, your inbox is full.
Incidentally the best software is what's between your ears. Corny and obvious but I had to do it.
