hi guys! i installed a rs for 2005 volvo x90. i use the compustar cm6200 module and idatalink ads-al as my bypass. i connect everything but i couldn't remote start the car. the keyless is working good and if i leave the key  in the key barrel, the rs working. on the keysense wire i use the rs BROWN / white wire and change the jumper to positive polarity. what wire should i use to connect the vehicle keysense wire?  is it the r/s ign2 wire or the keysense wire?

thanks

Did you follow the Type 1 wiring diagram in the iDatlink install guide #7668, including the ADS White and WHITE/ Black wires doing the "keywrap" with a spare key as shown?

The CM6000 BROWN / White wire is an input wire, not an output.  You will need to wire up a relay as follows for Keysense(+).

Relay Pin 85 to CM6000 CN3 Pin 11, Black GWR

Relay Pin 86 and 87 to +12V constant thru 10 Amp fuse
Relay Pin 30 to Keysense  Volvo  Yellow (+)  ignition switch, 8 pin plug, pin 3
Relay Pin87A not used

If you are also using CN3 Pin 11 for the ADS bypass module GWR, diode isolate.  Or, if you have

the OP-500 Programmer, you can change one of the unused POC's to Opt 5 Status Out - .

Soldering is fun!

@tedmond, i already did that one. base on the wire diagram the keysense wire is required. what i did is that i use the black and BLACK/ white wire of the idatalink ads-al bypass to wrap the valet key. what i dont did is that, i never realize that the vehicle keysense is an output. i will try to rewire the keysense wire.

thanks

Try remote starting it with just holding the head of the key up to the barrel. If it remote starts correctly then you need to check your loops around the key and barrel. If it does not remote start then it is most likely a keysense issue.

Connect the tach, program to tach mode, and learn the tach. Save yourself some grief down the road. Especially with where you have listed as your location, tachless will give you tons of problems.
