pretty much restoration fixing at the old broken wires and stuff and re-wiring a new engine can you help me out?

also having some issue where when the brake is pressed the front parking light go on so there must be a short or something connected wrong that i need to resolve because its driving me absolutely nuts

check for bad grounds on your taillights.

Also check the rear light, if you have a "single" filament bulb in a "dual" filament Socket. That would cause a backfeed when you hit the brakes to the parking lights.

x2 on the check grounds.
If it's a dual filament stop/tail light and the ground breaks, the tail lights ground the brake light, hence lighting other park lights.
