Hey all I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some help with my compustar cm6000 remote starter. I have a 2011 Kia forte 5 sx with push start. The problem I'm having is when I remote start the car then after unlocking and getting in the car it shuts down then I need to restart the car again the car Is automatic I always put the e break up.
P.S it's not all the time sometimes the stays running but lately it's been turning off
Thanks for any info

what bypass are you using? some require the car to shutdown then restart. i assume this is push to start? depending on the bypass module you use, some interface better for pts vehicles.

If you read the manual it says when you start the car it has to be locked. When u unlock and open thedoor there is a time restriction for you to get in and push the start button failure to do so will result in remote start shut down
