Can anyone describe the steps to remove the radio and get to the back connecors on the 2012 CR-V? Do you have to remove the air vents first or the climate controls?

If anyone else comes here looking for the wiring diagram for the 2012 Honda CRV, the second post which describes the colors is incorrect.  Jus10sticks is correct with the rear speakers and the accessory wire.  I have a 2012 Honda CRV LX and just installed an amp and aftermarket speakers.  I will put up a few pictures of the harness.

The purple on the bottom left is the accessory wire.

Here is a pic of the other side of the same harness which houses the front speaker wire.

I just wanted to make a post to confirm that elmortero's diagrams are 100% correct.
I just installed an amp and sub using a cross over and stock radio adapter kit.
Everything is working properly and 100% as intended.
Thanks, elmortero!
