I just hooked up the above combo to a 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible. I followed all the wiring and programming info I could find. I was under the impression that the Evo All would take care of horn honks, light flashing, brake switch and tach. I appear to be getting none of these functions. I can remote start the car and open and close the remote locks. I am not sure if I am overlooking anything. The Relays seem to be activating on the 1272 remote start. If I was to try to hook up the individual wires (tach, horn, brake) should I use the wires from the remote start or from the Evo All? Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks

The Ultra Start 1272 is only one-way DataLink compatible with the Evo-All.   Here is the link for more info :  https://ifar.ca/en/datalink/ultrastart/1272_series/

The are differences between the convertible and the sedan / coupe.  Take a close look at Page 4 of the EVO-ALL install guide.  It lists the features supported.

For the convertible, it will only do the locks, alarm, Tach and transponder.  The Tach signal ( two-way only  )will have to be hardwired between the U1272 and EVO-ALL.

Soldering is fun!

Thanks for the info. It looks like I can hook up the tach and trunk release from the 1272 to the Evo direct. Brake and parking lights will have to be wired from the 1272 to the car, correct?

The Trunk Release should be able to go D2D along with the Locks.  Personally, I still go W2W with all those connections.   The U1272 will
have to be connected directly to the Sebring for the Parking Lights, Brake, Horn ( optional ) and Hood Pin.
