Ok, so I'm brand new to these forums but you guys and gals may be my only hope and I'm praying for a little how to help here.
I'm sorta new to carbon fiber and fiberglass and I have a project requiring sheets of carbon fiber and fiberglass 4 feet by 20 inches. I can buy carbon fiber much cheaper if I don't buy it in sheets that size but could use strips about or larger than half those sizes.... So my problem is this.
Since I am only a novice DIY guy with fiberglass and no previous CF experience. Could someone please point me to, or explain in detail how I can join 2 peices of Carbon fiber together so that they are seamless. The look needs to be aggressive so highly visible seams just wont do. I searched and searched and cannot find this topic answered anywhere online.
I'm a long time member at Chargerforums.com and I'm hoping the same friendliness and willingness to help that can be found there can be found on a community as large as this one.
Thanks in advance if you can help me at all.
FYI I'm 22 and just out of the Air Force, so I'm pretty easy to teach and willing to get everyone's input. Thank you.

Oh, also. By seamless I mean that I need the pattern to look as if it's one solid sheet, not 2 or more separate pieces joined together. And also any tips on how to hide the inevitable seam itself would also be great.

Welcome to the forums. Are you able to post pictures of the two pieces?
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
