I was reading a thread about this last night and a suggestion came up I have some confusion on. I've been out of the mobile audio game for many years so i'm sure improvements have been made so I come here to get the right info. Old school way we'd catch a rear line output and put an RCA converter on the line and rca over to the amp to add a sub. The thread mentioned a LOC which I'm not familier with this term they stated there's 4 wires behind the radio twisted up to hook this too. Can someone expand on this for me? Whats a LOC? and is ford putting in specific wires now just to hook up aftermarket equipment?

Also if someone's got a scematic I'm in need of the colors of the reverse lights wire and an ignition + under the dash...

Some things do not change!

LOC=Line Out Converter that would change a high level output or speaker wires into a low level signal or RCAs. If your amp has a line level adapter plug you could eliminate the LOC.
