I have been debating between these two boxes ...
Band Pass Box
and
Ported Box
What is the difference between ported and band pass? I am looking for louder lower frequency bass that will travel and make my 1 12" W7 sound like I have much more then one speaker in the trunk. What do you guys suggest?

In general, band pass = "one note wonder."  Great for SPL, not so great for music due to very limited frequency response.  Ported is generally the best compromise between high SPL and good frequency response and is the most common enclosure alignment in car audio.  In all audio, actually.  Before you just "buy a box" though, are you certain it is the best for your woofer?

A well built box, either ported or sealed. By a place that knows what they are doing
