reverse wire, 2003 ford escape

Hey guys i have a 2003 ford escape with a kenwood DDX-419 hu and a rear view cam cmos 200 and i have a problem that is i Found the BLACK/ pink wire but the only problem i have is that it has 12 volts when the lights are off and it shows 1 volt when its on also when i leave it in park the screen comes on like i am in reverse and it says no signal and when i put the truck in reverse it turns off and goes to the main menu HELP ME PLEASE lol

You need to find a wire that is at 0 volts with the reverse lamp off, and 12 volts when it is illuminated.  The easiest place to find this wire is at the reverse lamp.

i looked at the reverse lamp and there are 2 wires 1 is 12 volts all the time and the other is 12 volts when off and 1 volt when on so

cant be because i ony see 2 black with pink wires 1 has 12 volts when off and other has less than a volt off and on
