pictorial for 2010 model but apparently 09-12 are the same, but dont quote me on that, look over tutorial note wire colors/polarity and test to verify they match .

H3 harness:

H3-1 Pink Ignition 1 : connect to ignition 1 wire BLACK/ red
H3-2 RED / White Flex Relay input :+12v input
H3-3 Orange Accessory out : to acc wire of vehicle white green
H3-4 Violet Starter out:car side if cutting wire for starter kill option GREEN/ black
H3-5 Green Starter in: key side of cut starter 1 line if using starter kill option GREEN/ black (this one is optional, not needed if you dont cut starter wire)
H3-6 Red IG Input :+12v
H3-7 Pink/White Flex Relay out : ign 2 blue / YELLOW
H3-8 Pink/Black Flex Relay IN 87a :possibly no, ive never done a toyota and never needed it,someone else may be able to tell if you need this
H3-9 RED / Black ACC Power input :+12v

on one of the thinner guage wire harnesses supplied with the 5901 there will be a 200ma low current output marked as starter or 2nd starter, use this to drive a relay which will be cranked by the brain at the same time as the starter 1 heavy guage wire.

use a standard automotive relay connected to starter 2:

85-low current 2nd starter output from brain -200ma

86+30 to +12v

87 to 2nd starter wire in ignition harness: BLACK/ white

hopefully thats correct but as said verify the wires before connecting.

To OP, read Tony's answer, 85 from low current 2nd. starter output, - 200ma.
I would have written it as 200ma (-).
But then that's why we ask, or even beg people to R.T.F.M.

Going to install a viper 5901 alarm to my 2009 Toyota Tacoma with a
xpress DBALL kit.
So i labeled most of the wiring for the alarm but am
a little bit confused by the manual on viper 5901 as it says for most
Toyota you need to cut ignition 2 and attach h3/7 and H3/8 and
reprogram the menu 3 option? is this necessary or will it work by
leaving H3/8 out?

I got a DBAll xpresskit to install my viper 5901 alarm but on the manual i downloaded from the xpress site it gives you the option for this bypass kit. but in the manual it doesn't tell you what type of install it is am thinking its a type 1 install as my key has a dot and not a G.
also what flash update software should i download for the DBALL on there site as there same to be 4?
thanks for taken time to help
