I have purchased a remote car starter, and it states in the user guide that it is specifically for manual transmissions only, but i have an auto transmission. Is there some way to convert it to be able to install it on my auto transmission?
Cuz it's saying I have to put the parking brake on, leave my car running, and put it in neutral, take out the keys then leave the car and it will turn off automatically, but I don't want to have to go through all that

It would help to know what make and model of remote start you have.

Are you sure about this?
Most of the entry level units such as this one cater for auto only.
It's only the better brands that have provision for both.
I've never seen nor heard of a manual only version.

OP is absolutely correct. It's a discontinued model, the auto version was 3400.

Yep, Manual Trans only.  Ultra Start makes Manual Trans only units, too.  They are easily identified by their Yellow color.
Soldering is fun!

And no way to convert unless you install a flux generator, swap it for the 3400 if you can, good luck there as it's discontinued.

thanks, for the replies, I don't really care for the remote start option, I really only wanted the door unlock, and trunk release. Is it possible to still hook those up?

Yes of course if you tell us what car.
You will need to connect all of the fuses but only the ignition wire.
