Hello, I have a Viper 5701 alarm system that i am trying to pair with a 7351v remote. This remote should work with the 5701 with code date 10D and up. I try to pair it up and it is not working so i am guessing mine is below the 10D. My control center (antenna) is the 6211T. How can i make this remote work with my alarm. Can i put another antenna to make it work? if yes which one? Also what is the difference with the 10D and up 5701. Any help will be really appreciated it.

The 6211T is for use with the LE type remotes that come standard with the 5701 system.
In order to use the 2 way LCD (LC3) remotes, you will need the 6711T antenna which works on a different frequency than the 6211T.
Although the 6711T states it's for the LC3 remote model 7752V, it should work with your LCD remote since the specs for it show it will also work with the 5901 systems. That's essentially what you are converting the 5701 to by upgrading the remote and the antenna.
Good Luck!

You also need to verify that 4 remotes haven't been paired to the 5701 if so you will need to delete all the remotes from memory to add new remotes. The 7351v is supposed to work with the LE antenna such as it has a 2000 ft range like the LE remotes not 1 mile like the 7752v LCD which the 5901 uses!

The difference with the 10D and up 5701 Should be the 6211t shipped with the unit. They must have made some changes to the Antenna specs.

The Viper 3303V 2-way LC uses the 6211t antenna and the 7351v lc remote so you would probally need the newer 6211t if the memory isn't full in your 5701

The antenna changed to a DEI 548T LED 2Way IVU GEN2 RCVR for the 10D date code. So if you want to use the 7351LC with the 5701 you would need to replace the antenna with the GEN2 one, otherwise The 6711t Antenna for 5901 and 5902 is also supposed to work but are rare to find for cheap!

When trying to program a fifth remote, should'nt the first remote automatically lose programing instead of deleting all remotes? I know the old Vipers used to do that.

No four slots that can be programmed, once all four are used the only way to add is to Erase all remotes and start again.

Also make sure the unit is not Bitwriter locked.
The learn routine may be locked if previously programmed using the Bitwriter®. If the honk generates one long chirp when attempting to program the unit, the learn routine is locked and must be unlocked using the Bitwriter® before proceeding.
