I have a 1988 Dodge Caravan with a python 513 security system I was hoping someone could answer any of these questions.

1. What relays do I need, if any, to get the door locks going

2. whats better about the higher priced acctuators, Is it worth it?

3.I really want the drivers and pass doors to unlock with the button and the side and back to be operated seperately. what other accesories would be possible?

4. Do they make a garage door opener?

Any ideas or help will be much appreciated!B

1. Yes you need two relays. According to Audiovox the power door locks are reversal. Quickest way and probably cheaper than two relays would be the DEI 451M.
2. Very difficult question to answer without more information. I have had no trouble with most actuators I have used over the years. None have been what I would consider expensive.
3. Huh? What button? You are trying to control just the front door locks, then the rear(s)? Why? Being a 88 I don't think it has automatic side doors, nor automatic lifting rear door. So I'm not sure what you want to do here.
4. I think that system uses the 474P remotes. If that is correct, the 519H2 is a garage door opener that would work.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
