Vehicle is a 95 Grand Prix GTP.  Just installed a Pioneer DIN and a half CD deck, using one of the factory wire harness adapters.  The interior lights now won't come on by door pin switch, and they come on when the key is turned on.  Then they will not go off!  Is the factory head unit somehow tied in the the dome light delay?  I know for sure that no wires are pinched/nicked/shorted, and I pulled the unit out and disconnected the illumination lead as an experiment, no luck.  Any help you could offer would be much appreciated.

One more piece of info... the lights went off after about 15-20 minutes.  Seems the car has a feature where if you leave a door open (i.e. the lights are on too long) it will kill them.  If you do turn on the key they come on and stay, starting it all over again.  Help!
