Not sure how you have it connected, but in W2W mode, connect the APS997C Light Blue Ground Output While Running wire to the FLCAN GWR (-) INPUT - BLUE/WHITE wire.
Soldering is fun!

Start the car normally, then press the remote start button (remote start take-over) and then turn the key off (without touching the brake). See if the car still runs.

thank you, but that didnt work. i have a new flashlogic module on the way. im using data2data and flashed with dl ha2. everything is working except it cranks but wont start. it will start if i hold the key next to ing cylinder, but shuts off after 5 seconds. could i possibly be missing an input or something on the alarm side? i have batt power, switched power, ground, the relay for starter kill, the horn, hood pin switch, brake switch and im running dbi tach? i hope its just a bad module and not something stupid im missing.

Are all of your main ignition wires connected correctly?
12volts
      white (50A)

ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 3

Starter      yellow      +      ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 1
Second Starter      N/A
Ignition      blue      +      ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 6
Second Ignition      N/A
Third Ignition      N/A
Accessory      orange      +      ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 4
Second Accessory      red      +      ignition switch, brown 7 pin plug, pin 5
I would assume they are since it is starting with the key near the cylinder. It sounds to me like the module is not working properly. Get rid of the useless d2d and change to w2w. This will allow you to troubleshoot much easier (and its 100x more reliable). It sounds like you have 2 issues going on. 1 is that the immobilizer bypass is not working correctly, and 2 is that there is no tach signal learned (which is why it is shutting off after 5 seconds.
Change to w2w, hardwire the tach signal (Tachometer      NOT yellow/black      ac      any fuel injector      ) and report back.

And after you change it to W2W and hardwire the Tach, redo the tach-learning process on the APS-997.
