Hi, this might sound crazy, but is it possible to make your own RF loop for this unit? Reason I ask is because a family member took out her alarm/remote start system from her vehicle before she sold it and forgot to remove the loop from the ignition. I know I could just go to a local shop and buy another unit with all of the wiring, but I thought I'd see if it was possible to do it first. Thanks.

Yes you can with some small gauge wire like 24 gauge and some shrink wrap cut just short of a full wrap around ingnition. you will need to make around 6 loops and test if not just keep adding a loop until it picks up the key in the box. Once you got it working a small zip strip around the 2 ends of the wire coming out of the shrink wrap to keep it snug and in place. As for connecting to the box any spare 2 pin connector that will plug in is all you need. Just make sure to solder the wire to the plug.
