Hi all,
My car came with MB Quart QSD 216's when I bought it years ago. The tweeters are way too loud for me. I followed the instructions to reduce the tweeters to the minimum level but they still hurt my ears. Is there any way to further reduce the tweeter volume? I searched the web and the forums and couldn't find anything.

You can add an L-pad... I'll assume that the tweeters are 4 ohms, but how much do you want to attenuate them? Is there any marking on the existing attenuator to tell you how far below "zero" it is? Example: any marking saying -XdB?
Since "all the way down" is still too hot for you, start with an attenuator network that's that far off zero, say 6dB, and restart your adjustments with the L-pad in place, but with the Quart attenuator at the top setting.
Here's a calculator page I found online:

Best of luck...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
