I'm trying to hook a DEI 520T to a CM6000 Compustar brain but I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out how I should connect it. The CM6000 has a dedicated connector (CN2) that is for (+) 12V Back up battery and (-) Ground Back up battery.
Can I connect it as below or do I need to connect it up differently? I've been reading conflicting information.
520T to CM6000
(+) Constant Power 12V Input -> Connector 2 Pin 1 (+) 12V Back up battery
(-) Instant Trigger Input -> Connector 2 Pin 2 (-) Ground Back up battery
I appreciate the help, thanks!

I've never installed the 2 together, but I would venture to say that the CM6000 is designed to connect directly to the back-up battery (not through the extra module), but that could be wrong.

You need to buy a backup battery that compustar sell.s It plugs directly into that port. It not meant for a 520t. If not, then you need to wire it according to the instructions of the 520t and not use that port.
