This may be the wrong forum to post this but Does anyone Know what a letter L stamped on the key to a Toyota Tacoma means?

Never heard of an L key. G means 80bit, circle means 40bit. Some Tacomas have no immobolizer at all and no letter...

Thanks. Well maybe then I don't have an immobolizer on mine. Wish I knew one way or the other. but it does have a L stamped on it what ever the L means is anyones guess.

Look around the ignition key cylinder on the steering column. Look at the plastic ring around the metal where the key goes, do you see copper windings in the plastic? If so it has one..

This is what I see. The white item is the connector the ignition harness connects into at the key cylinder. The other picture is the connectors on the bottom side of the steering column. There are no other connectors on the steering column.

From what I can see, there is no immobilizer.
