Hello all....need a bit of advice on which bypass to choose for 2004 Chevrolet Colorado and Autostart AS2371TW, xpresskit preferred as I've used a few of theirs in past installs and familiar with installing software on these. I was going to use PLJX, but just realized it doesn't handle locks.....DB-ALL a good choice? Any advice/tips appreciated.....thks, Al

The PLJX works great on these trucks. The locks are easy to do...

I have 2005 and just completed installation.  The PLJX is what i used and it's set default for our colorado.  Also cheap about $20-$25. Lock and Unlock door is with your starter.

Here is a pic, it might help.

You can use this or direct from Battery as I did using the same hole by the hood cable.

Use this exactly as pictured, specially the jumper.

Thank you both for the recommendation on the PLJX.....voltswagon, appreciate the time and effort in posting the pictures to follow! One question.....the wire colors at your ignition harness picture don't seem to match what the Directed install instructions show..WHITE/ various color stripes versus 3 solid color (orange, blue, brown) wires in the PLJX install instructions?? I'm assuming (as per your photo) the two wires in the ignition harness I will be wiring the PLJX into are the WHITE/ blue and the white green..thks, Al

Correct.  That's why it's labeled.  Color code from directed is used for MOST of GM, not all.

You will only need 2 wires from the ignition.

1.WHITE/ green(ignition) to RS and PLJX(pink wire)

2.WHITE/ blue(data) splice in half. From ignition to Pink/white(pljx). From PLJX(blue) to the other spliced end.

This should be a pictorial if anyone is interested.

I'm really happy with this Bulldog Deluxe 2 way pager with PLJX module.

If anyone interested here's some pictorials.

remove the cover:

Under the plastic also metal cover which I didn't need to move and mount my starter/module on to, that you might need to remove
Instead of 3 clips(blue), actually 4 not picture on bottom right.

Once you remove the steering wheel cover you'll see this

If you dont want to remove the steering cover, you can still access the wires on the other end of the harness.

lock/unlock

You might have to remove the metal cover to get to it.  I got small arm.
