Ok, here is my delema. I came across and older remote car starter. It appears to be all there. It's not a car alarm so I would think it wouldn't need a speaker (or horn).
I have done some research and found zero. I've been at this for about a week and am about to give up. With any luck someone out there might know anything about it.
Here is what I know.
It says "Mobile Start" "Mobile Tech. Inc. - Made in the USA" "021004" on the main box. (can be seen in the picture I hope uploaded)
Nothing else has any markings of any sort anywhere.
I took both boxes apart in hopes of finding something, but found no mfg markings.
Here's to the hope that someone knows something about this and/or somewhere I might find info.

Whats the FCC # on the back of the remotes. You can, sometimes, use the FCC # on the FCC's website and get Manufacture info... Might Help... ** Im sure you dont want to hear, " buy another unit"... But honestly,R/S go for $30-$40 on-line and have current info... What vehicle are you thinking of installing this on?

I took the remotes apart thinking the FCC number may have been printed on the inside since there are no FCC markings on the outer case. No such luck.
I have looked into getting one off eBay and will most likely go that route for my 2001 Dodge Stratus.
I'm still not giving up the search for info for this R/S though.
Thank you so much for the help all the same.

Look at what I think is the antenna plug, 3rd. picture, right hand side.
Weren't Clifford using that in the 80s?
Also without the antenna it wont work at all so bin it!

I'll look into Cliffor. Thanks.
As for the antenna, I have the antenna just didn't take a photo of it.
Again, thank you for all the help.

You got that all wrong, I was trying to explain that that kind of antenna technology is about 20 years old, roughly 4 or more generations.
Clifford G1/2 used it now it's Clifford G5.
It just isn't worth bothering with.
Bothering with it is a complete waste of time.

Ok. I've already been looking into another R/S on eBay. Found one I may buy just to finish this project.
I was not going into this with the idea this was anywhere near a newer model. But, I'd still like to finish my research on this one. I'm one to see things through to the end.
One more question. Even if its older tech, wouldn't it still work all the same?
I really do appreciate the info and input.

In theory yes in practice NO.
Worn out or corroded components, static build up.
Quality (?) of original manufacture.

I understand where your coming from. I did order one off eBay for my car. I'd still like to know who made this one, and maybe even find model info or even a user manual. Not holding my breath though.
Thank you for not treating me like a total noob. Lol
