I have a viper 5901 remote start with PLJX bypass module installed on my 2002 Chevy Silverado. It has been on 3yrs or more and has functioned perfect. The other day I hit remote start and it started the stupid crank and die, crank and die passlock 2 junk. I cut power to battery and unplugged everything and reprogrammed the bypas module, but didnt help. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

check your connections, especially the tach wire connections if you have it hooked up. maybe something has wiggled loose over the years. does the truck start and run normally when you use the key?

If you start the truck with the key and press the remote start button, are you able to remove the key and the truck stays running?
