Is there an internal "Jumper/Fuse" in the Python?  Most Viper units have it and that is how you set the

polarity of the H1/5 ( H1/11? ) Parking Light Output wire.  You can set it to either position and choose the
appropriate vehicle wire to use.  Since no isolation is required with your Alero, H1/4 ( 87a) is not used.

2003 Alero

 PARKING LIGHTS ( - )    WHITE (-)       @ BCM, GRAY plug, Pin B1, See NOTE *1
 PARKING LIGHTS ( + )   BROWN (+)    @ BCM, LIGHT GRAY plug, pin B8, See NOTE *1
NOTE *1 the BCM is located between the BLOWER MOTOR and the PASSENGER kick panel.

Soldering is fun!
